Diets Don’t Work
“Diets just don’t work,” says John Assaraf, an optimum
performance expert who has spent the last 20 years researching the methods of
highly successful people. According to Assaraf, our body weight has everything
to do with our hidden internal image and nothing to do with crash diets,
exercise plans, metabolism, or weight loss stimulants. “They all just work
short term and sets us up to gain all the weight back in the long haul” says
Assaraf.
Diets Don’t Work
SAN DIEGO, CA, September 24, 2003 (PRWEB) -“Diets just don’t work,” says
John Assaraf, an optimum performance expert who has spent the last 20 years
researching the methods of highly successful people. According to Assaraf, our
body weight has everything to do with our hidden internal image and nothing to
do with crash diets, exercise plans, metabolism, or weight loss stimulants. “They
all just work short term and sets us up to gain all the weight back in the long
haul” says Assaraf.
“Trying to lose weight without reprogramming your internal self-image is like
drawing a moustache on the mirror and expecting it to show up on your face!”
exclaims Assaraf. “To lose weight, you must first re-program your internal
self image. You must envision your body in perfect form – as being healthy and
physically fit. Most importantly, you must believe that you deserve to look that
way.”
He’s the author of a new book, THE STREET KID’S GUIDE TO HAVING IT ALL (LongStreet
Press, $21.95), which helps readers create the life of their dreams and re-wire
their mental programming to be successful.
“Your internal image and conditioning controls what you focus on and attract.
If you are conditioned to weigh 170 lbs as a 5’ 4” woman, then all you’ll
see is food and opportunities in line with that image. You won’t have the will
power to eat 4 small meals a day. You won’t have the will power long term to
exercise every day of the week. You’ll forever remain at your comfort weight
until you do something within your brain to change it.”
By completing the “true north” exercises in Assaraf’s book, readers will
understand their conditioned beliefs. Using his “true north” exercises,
readers can move towards their dream life and their dream body.
“Most people are overweight because they aren’t even aware of what their
hidden self-image is doing to them. My book will open people’s eyes to the
mental diet that will truly change their bodies and their lives forever.”
THE STREET KID’S GUIDE helps readers bombard their subconscious with new
beliefs using affirmations and powerful visualization techniques – a “mental
diet” that doesn’t have a thing to do with counting calories, but everything
to do with picturing and creating a perfect new “you.”
